Arturo Moncada-Torres
clinical data scientist
Arturo Moncada-Torres focuses on bridging the gap between the clinic and machine learning/AI to improve cancer care. Specifically, he is interested in federated learning applications, where a global model can be created using decentralized data. He is also active in developing explainable models for oncological analyses.
Arturo did his MSc in Biomedical Engineering at ETH Zurich (CH). He did his PhD at KU Leuven (BE) focused on computational modelling of auditory systems. After that, he moved to Eindhoven to be part of IKNL as a clinical data scientist.
I am passionate about improving people’s health through data informed solutions.
